ENTREPRENEURIAL MARKET STRATEGIST (VIE)

You are based at AGC’s Technovation Centre close to Charleroi (Belgium) and will join our internal start-up incubator in the Architectural division of AGC, an exciting environment surrounded by numerous internal start-ups. In this dynamic multidisciplinary team of about 30 people, you collaborate with UX designers, market strategists and engineers. Your primary mission will be to identify and assess potential new businesses (beyond traditional glass business models) that align with AGC's strategic priorities.
More specifically, as a young Entrepreneurial Market Strategist:
- You challenge perspectives using methodologies like Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Agile, and fast prototyping.
- You identify market segments where our products/services can be positioned advantageously. You deeply understand these segments (trends, market size, competitors) through desk research, interviews, fairs, and conferences.
- You engage and empathize with users and customers to build strong relationships, uncover their true needs, and design a value proposition that aligns with their goals and business needs.
- You develop and iterate B2B2C business models and go-to-market strategies.
- You organize and participate in events to generate ideas.
- You contribute to improving our methodologies and processes.
Your marketing / academic profile
- You love strategic marketing and innovation. It is in your blood. This translated into good academic results in strategic marketing, business management, business engineering and/or innovation management.
- You enjoy being on the field, talking to end users and potential customers.
- You understand or have already experienced Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition Design and Design Thinking processes.
You have much more to offer than your hard skills. Your personality, your creativity and enthusiasm will be determining factors. You are an allrounder and recognize yourself in the following:
- Creative and entrepreneurial mind with an agile spirit
- Curious with a bias for action
- Hungry for learning and growth
- Efficient communicator in multicultural environments (presentations, reports, discussions, animations).
- Multi tasker, able to meet deadlines and manage different projects.
- Able to elaborate, test, and propose new concepts autonomously
- Fluent in English / Knowledge of French is a plus.
