About the jobAlways wanted to work in a finance team at a factory? We’re looking for a Plant Controller for the Actimel plant in Belgium, Danone’s biggest factory in Europe.
This role is based in Belgium, this role is part of the Operations Controlling team working in Rostelaar.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Lead the performance animation for the logistic costs of the Rotselaar plant
• Provide timely and accurate reporting of site financial performance including in-depth analysis of variances to local and central stakeholders
• Analyze and report key performance indicators and ensure their accuracy, understand, and communicate impact of these measures to the business.
• Perform tasks for warehouse month end close
• Coordinate the forecast and reporting process of the site, identifying and tracking Risk & Opportunities, and ensuring forecast accuracy and reporting consistency
• Responsible for the Balance Sheet and Cash controlling of the site
• Support the leadership team by driving accountability and finance awareness on site
• Give recommendations to the leadership team on strategic discussions and business decisions
• Track operations productivity and capex projects, execution, and financial impact.
• Ensure internal control compliance and liaise with internal and external auditors
• Effectively communicate with other departments

About youQualifications you have:

• Master degree, preferably in Business administration with Finance specialization
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in finance in a operational environment
• Strong Computer skills including proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• ERP Systems experience (SAP preferred)
• Solid interpersonal, analytical and technical skills
• Ability to communicate complex financial information verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail, possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt and be flexible.
• Is resilient, determined and proactively anticipates business needs
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; Dutch is a plus
