The independence team plays a decisive role in shaping EY’s perception and operations. In addition to independence, also the Anti-Money Laundering legislation (AML) entails significant compliance aspects as well as client onboarding assessments to EY.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Advise on auditor independence according to professional standards
- Research and analyze independence procedures for clients
- Monitor and support corrective actions
- Develop and implement training for independence and AML
- Collaborate with international EY independence teams
- Support the AML Compliance Officer in program implementation and optimization
- Conduct AML compliance checks for client onboarding
- Improve AML processes, procedures, and tools
- Provide compliance advice based on risk assessments
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulations.
Your Profile
You have/are:
- a Master’s degree from a Belgian university
- a first experience is in AML is necessary
- excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch and French. Next to that, you are fluent in English
- a team player, resilient under pressure, problem-solving attitude and strong client service
- proficient with technology
