5V Tech is seeking a talented Information System Tester to join our client in Brussels, and work in a dynamic team on time-sensitive projects.

In this full-time role, you'll be the first line of defense, safeguarding the quality of our systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Crafting Test Strategies: Define comprehensive test plans and meticulously design test cases to identify potential issues.
• Automating Efficiency: Build and execute test automation scripts with tools like Selenium and Soap UI to streamline the testing process.
• Uncovering Security Vulnerabilities: Leverage your knowledge of OWASP Top Ten to identify and report web application security risks.
• Seamless Integration: Collaborate with developers to guarantee seamless integration of your testing efforts within the development lifecycle (Atlassian ALM tools).
• Agile Champion: Foster an agile environment by applying Kanban and Scrum methodologies to manage projects effectively.

We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as an Information System Tester (12+ years with a Bachelor's degree or 10+ years with a Master's degree)
• Strong foundation in test automation methodologies.
• Expertise in industry-standard tools like Selenium, Soap UI, and Neo Load.
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identify and resolve software defects.
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Atlassian ALM preferred).
• Understanding of Project Management frameworks (PM² and PM2 Agile is a plus).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Kanban and Scrum).
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is a strong advantage.
• Bonus points for proficiency in Git, Git Hub, Docker, Continuous Integration, and IDEs (Visual Studio, Jet Brains).
