About the role
As A&T Accountant, you will be in charge, within TMF’s accounting department, of the support to our international clients in their establishment and development in Belgium.
Under the supervision of the Supervisors, as well as the seniors from your team, you will be required to perform all types of work on your client portfolio, in all areas of the accounting expertise.
Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the timely and correct handling of all matters concerning the day to day bookkeeping of the client portfolio
• Sorting and filing documents into: third party invoices, company’s sale invoices, bank statements, cash documents and other correspondence.
• Booking of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank, lettering, payroll and payments
• Verifying the completeness and consistency of accounting information received.
• Preparation of monthly or quarterly basic closing transactions and reconciliation (e.g. VAT centralisation…).
• Working in compliance with all TMF’s procedures and follow the mandatory trainings.
• Any other task assigned by the Associate or Senior Accountant.

About you
Ideally, you match the following criteria:

• Professional knowledge of English (B1 level minimum);
• Bachelor in Accounting/Tax;
• At least first experience or internship in an accounting firms is a plus;
• Knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams) is an asset;
