- You have up to 2 years of experience as a practicing lawyer (“stagiair/stagiaire”) admitted to the Bar in Belgium and have successfully completed your Bar admission exams.
- You have obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law at a Belgian university, preferably with Cum Laude or Magna Cum Laude merits. As an alternative to academic results, we also are attracted by extracurricular activities and projects (Moot courts, student association activities, internships, etc.).
- You have an interest in Corporate Transactions and Corporate and Commercial Litigation and are eager to learn about Commercial Advisory and Commercial Litigation work.
- Interest in and/or exposure to the following sectors is a plus: Media and Entertainment (including Videogames, Betting & Gaming, Music and Audiovisual Content), Sports, Real Estate & Hospitality (including Holiday Parks, Managed Offices, etc.), Food and Beverage, E-Commerce, Software and IT-Services.
- You have the ambition to grow in responsibility in the next years and accept challenges outside of your comfort zone.
- You value the opportunity of gaining expertise in the area of DMTI, with the possibility of gaining more in-depth knowledge in one of these fields overtime.
- You are a self-starter who takes individual responsibility, whilst you enjoy working in a team.
- You have an eye for detail and a liking for perfection.
- You speak Dutch with a solid mastery of French, in combination with English. An academic track record in more than one of those languages is a definite plus.
- You like to be the challenger rather than the incumbent. You don’t argue, you debate. You like to work hard when it’s needed – and not when it’s inefficient.
- You see the connection where others do not and can make connections out-of-the-box. You can come up with creative solutions to solve problems that don’t align with the traditional approach.
