To further strengthen the Accounting & Reporting Assurance team, we are seeking a high skilled and motivated Manager who wants to further expand their existing knowledge on exciting Accounting & Reporting advisory projects that add great value to international groups and organizations.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, leading teams and driving impactful solutions in areas such as IFRS/ IPSAS, US GAAP or other applicable accounting framework.

Responsibilities

• Leading and executing Accounting & Reporting Advisory projects, which includes ad hoc technical accounting advice, implementation of new accounting standards (IFRS/ IPSAS, US GAAP), providing advice in the context of an M&A transaction or involved in Finance Transformation projects, (deferred) Tax Accounting services, full GAAP conversion projects or compilation of financial statements.

• Project Delivery: Plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

• Client Management: Be the first point of contact for clients and serve as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining strong relationships.

• Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest developments and amendments to accounting standards by attending training and/or updates and by following on newly issued IFRS/IPSAS, US GAAP materials.

• Coaching: Provide mentorship to more junior profiles, fostering professional development and enhancing their accounting & reporting capabilities.

• Training: Designing training and workshops for both internal employees and external clients on any Accounting-related topic.

• Business Development: Contribute in business development initiatives and participating in proposal development.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other service lines (such as audit, tax, and advisory) to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in auditing, preparing or analysing IFRS/IPSAS/US GAAP financial statements.
• Profound knowledge of IFRS/IPSAS/US GAAP requirements and motivated to further improve your technical knowledge in this area.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and experience in managing teams.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and project delivery.
• Ability to build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
Excellent oral and written communication in English and French or Dutch.

What are the "nice to have" skills to get even faster up to speed in this role:

• Good knowledge of the other national language (Dutch or French).
• Knowledge of and/or interest for accounting, reporting or consolidation tools.
