Duties and Responsibilities
The Junior Account Officer will be responsible for managing project-related accounting activities, including general ledger management, accounts payable, and receivable. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and assisting with account reconciliations. More details on job duties include:

• Support project accounting, including expense tracking, cost control, and forecasting.
• Review and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Contribute to financial reports.
• Assist with budget updates and development for projects.
• Ensure compliance with financial requirements and adapt procedures as needed.
• Provide administrative support for HR, office management, and event/travel planning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or another business-related field, with 1 to 3 years of proven experience in an accounting or finance department.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
• Ability to maintain required financial controls and to support independent audits.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (English is used by staff).
