We’re made up of teams like Marketing, Communications, Human Capital, IT, Procurement, Finance, Facilities, Project Management and more, and together we form the support network of the entire firm. As part of IFS, we’ll guide you to becoming a vital contributor in providing our colleagues and clients the best possible experience at Pw C.

In order to grow this IFS support network to the next level, and as part of a global and local Finance Transformation, we have revised our client onboarding and billing processes, which are now integrated and managed by the Middle Office team.

The mission statement of the Middle Office is clear: “Excel in optimised internal procedures and drive the client and engagement administration with expertise and know-how to unburden client-facing staff so that they can focus on building meaningful client relationships, developing new business and delivering qualitative engagements.”
We are looking for an Operational Manager to steer a team of +- 40 people with 1 managers and 7 teamleads

Your impact

As an Operational Manager, you’ll make an impact by:
  • Leading and optimizing the daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in delivering Pw C's professional services;
  • Building a positive team culture within the Middle Office team across the different functions (administrative up to manager level)
  • Managing and mentoring a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement;
  • Reporting to management on the progress of operational activities and the achievement of targets, including any risks and recommendations for improvement;
  • Overseeing reporting, planning, and auditing to ensure financial health and compliance with Pw C’s policies and regulations;
  • Coaching the Middle Office Team Managers and teamleads
  • Collaborating with other departments to design and execute initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and business growth;
  • Identifying operational risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and uphold Pw C’s reputation.
  • Implementing or improving data-driven, efficient and automated contact-to-cash processes

About you
  • Proven experience of 5-10 years in operational management, preferably within an organisation that delivers projects and services or a similar role
  • Fluent knowledge of English and French/Dutch
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities;
  • You have an interest in both financial as compliance processes or are willing to deep dive and learn everything about it; any experience in Finance, Risk or AML departments are a plus;
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • You are flexible, to the point, down to earth, hands-on and a good judge of people
  • You are a natural networker and know how to motivate people
  • Proficiency in operational performance metrics and process optimization;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment;
