This exciting role is part of the Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IMSC) API Geel organization, a key site within our network dedicated to the development, launch and growth of innovative medicines. The mobile equipment department plays a central and crucial role and supports the manufacturing departments by managing and preparing all mobile assets on the Geel site. More specifically, th e Mobile Equipment department is responsible for the cleaning, drying and assembling of all mobile equipments used by the production plants, the labs and the chemical warehouse on the Geel site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of approximately 30-35 people in a full continuous operational environment, including hiring, staffing and team growth
• Coaching, developing and leading your team to build a culture of Safety, Quality & Compliance and Performance
• Ownership over the operational activities across two locations at the Geel site
• Accountability for the timely availability and maintenance of mobile equipment
• Leading all aspects of the overall performance management, including the safety and quality performance of the department
• Manage outsourced operational activities
• Leading the long-range financial planning and mobile equipment strategy
• Provide leadership and support during New Product Introductions
• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and leading process improvement initiatives.
• Support Health Authority inspections and audits

Qualifications

Education:

• Master's University Degree, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience

Experience and Skills:

• Engaged and Inclusive People leader - You love working in teams, hearing different perspectives and discussing with your peers and team. You strive to coach your team and develop them to be their best selves
• You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
• Experience in a highly regulated industry with good understanding of compliance requirements (both safety and quality) is required, c GMP experience within life sciences manufacturing is preferred
• Intellectual curiosity to challenge the status quo, influence without authority and cultivate a collaborative culture
• Decisiveness, brainpower and drive to deal with various issues, priorities and projects simultaneously
• Positive attitude

Other:

• Able to collaborate with others in both Dutch and English
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
