The Double Tree by Hilton in Brussels is seeking a talented Sales Account Executive to join our ‘Proactive Sales' team. What you will do on a daily basis:

• Prospect, secure, and develop assigned client accounts, seeking and converting new opportunities for the hotel (Groups, Events, individual bookings, proactive management of MICE accounts, corporate, government, and associations).
• Support the development of the e-commerce team's efforts, focusing on MICE, corporate, and association segments, as well as those turning to online booking tools.
• Assist the sales manager in achieving the targeted revenue objectives and implementing commercial strategic plans for assigned accounts/industries.
• Conduct regular cold-calling, prospect via social networks, networking, and market intelligence data to understand the needs of target segments.
• Negotiate the terms of agreements and close sales. Send offers, explain the conditions of agreements, and assist the sales team in finalizing transactions.
• Gather market and customer information and communicate it to the sales manager.
• Effectively communicate special offers, new features, and promotions.
• Overcome challenges with a flexible and positive attitude, and be motivated by closing sales.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date account data using the Sales Force system.
• Actively participate in the creation and organization of hotel events, sales campaigns, networking meetings, trade fairs, workshops, and other activities necessary to increase the hotel's market share for assigned accounts.

Work Experience What we are looking for in you:

• Proficiency in English and French, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong proactive sales skills, motivated to succeed in challenging market conditions.
• Strong team spirit, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to understand and evaluate market data.
• Knowledge of Hilton systems is a plus (Sales Force, Delphi, On Q, etc.).
• Understanding of revenue management recommendations and commercial strategies.
• Flexibility to perform additional tasks as needed.
