About this vacancy

As a Senior Computer Vision/ ML Engineer in our team you will be challenged with:

• Development and implementation of methods from computer vision, machine learning, image understanding and 2D/3D analysis;
• Develop state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms for object detection, classification, and recognition;
• Extend and integrate computer vision components in existing software solutions;
• Ability to see beyond the numbers, be the voice of data when communicating to decision makers, product owners and team leaders;
• Challenge ideas and methods while working together with talented, highly skilled team members.

What we expect from you

Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Ph D is a plus.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in computer vision and machine learning, with at least 3 years of experience working on embedded systems with C++.
Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in C++ and familiarity with low-level programming for embedded systems.
• Strong background in computer vision frameworks (e.g., Open CV) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, Py Torch).
• Experience with model optimization techniques for embedded applications, such as quantization, pruning, and knowledge distillation.
• Familiarity with real-time processing and performance optimization on embedded systems.
• Experience with edge AI hardware accelerators (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Google Coral, ARM NN) is a plus.
• Knowledge of embedded operating systems (e.g., RTOS, Linux) and communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C).

Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges and implement effective solutions.
Collaboration: Strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
