Accounting Coordinator

• Coordinate the activities of the local Accounting team and GBS, including month-end closing, reconciliations, fixed assets, Intercompany and reimbursements (SLA), provision analysis, Financial Statements, Doubtful Accounts Provision, reports to Headquarters, local ancillary declarations, inventory control, import costs, and billing, ensuring compliance with local CPC and global IFRS legislation.
• Oversee internal audit (GIA) and external audit (Deloitte), support the Business Ethics audit, submit necessary documents, ensure auditors' tests, and maintain a good relationship with the auditors.
• Ensure a robust internal controls environment through the preparation and review of ICQs, monitor responsible areas, and manage controls like customer credit notes, account reconciliations, process monitoring, and system and banking access reviews, while analyzing and mitigating affiliate risks.
• Coordinate Accounts Payable, ensuring efficient entry and payment processes between GBS and outsourced analysts, review Concur aging, analyze cash flow, support banking relationships, manage cash flow, and other Treasury-related activities, while also managing Accounts Receivable, inventory, and financial import controls.
• Focus on people development and team engagement to maintain a high-performance team, and contribute to other affiliates and LATAM, ensuring process excellence and compliance with global strategies.

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with active CPA.
• This person is expected to have advanced/ fluent oral and written English.
• We expect a candidate with previous experience in coordinating accounting activities in a global organization, strong knowledge of local CPC and IFRS legislation, financial statements and auditing.
• Experience and knowledge in SAP.
• We would like to see that you have experience in internal and external audit compliance, excellent understanding of internal controls and risk management, and proficiency in financial systems and tools.
