Position Overview
Reports to Controller Brazil, providing support along with third parties for direct taxes and any other local authorities’ requirements. Review monthly IR/CS taxes activities in a safe internal control environment.


You are responsible for:

• Experience in Direct Tax (IRPJ, CSLL), collaborating closely with accounting, legal teams, as well as Big Four advisors.
• Oversees the information provided by Accounting to EY (Tax advisors) in order to perform the Tax Calculation. (Calculation, monitoring and accounting of IR/CS)
• Perform accessory obligations ECD (Eletronic Accounting Bookkeeping) and support third party with ECF (Eletronic Accounting-Fiscal Bookkeeping).
• Support accounting with other ancillary obligations - DCTF - (PG and Web), EFD Contributions
• Support external audits (Direct taxes)
• Support to Federal and Municipal tax Inspections and any other local authority requirements.
• Provide support to controller on the effective internal control environment.
Any other support required by the Country’s controller.

Qualifications

• Studies of Accounting, Finance or related fields or Law.
• Proven experience in similar positions or as Tax consultant
• Knowledge of ECD and ECF Electronic Accounting.
• Analytical skills; decision-making approach and ability to solve problems easily within minimum time-span.
• Critical thinking; verbal as well as written communication skills, listening power
• Ability to work in groups.
Excel intermediate level required

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate English.
BIG Four background in Tax Consulting (KPMG, EY, PWC, Delloite).
