Position: Full Stack Developer
Location: Hybrid
Position Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet business needs. The Senior Developer will lead by example, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring adherence to best practices in static testing and code revision.
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications using Type Script and Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in an Agile development environment.
- Implement static testing methodologies to identify and fix security vulnerabilities and code defects before deployment.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in best practices in software development.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve our development processes and solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and support.
The ideal candidate will thrive in an Agile environment, possessing a deep commitment to code quality, security, and performance.
- 7 – 10 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Type Script, React with Next JS, and Nest JS for back-end development.
- Develop new UI features using React, and develop new custom components to meet project requirements
- Solid understanding of relational databases, specifically Postgres.
- Experience with test-driven development and proficiency in Jest.
- Familiarity with Graph QL and proficiency with Hasura.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Equivalent Experience.
