We are looking for a Mid-Level Node.js Developer, to work with one of our international clients!

As a Mid-Level Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that support our healthcare applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software solutions that are scalable, secure, and efficient. This role requires a strong foundation in backend technologies, particularly Node.js, as well as experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, Cognito, RDS, and SES.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express;
Implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda to enhance application performance and scalability;
Utilize Amazon S3 for data storage and management, ensuring reliable and secure access to resources;
Integrate AWS Cognito for user authentication and management, ensuring secure access to applications;
Work with Amazon RDS for relational database management, optimizing data retrieval and storage;
Implement Amazon SES for managing and sending email communications effectively;
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic;
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality;
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction;
Engage in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives;
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and ensure alignment on goals;
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in AI, to drive innovation and efficiency in our operations.

Qualifications

Professional experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Node.js;
Proficiency in backend development using Node.js and Express;
Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, S3, Cognito, RDS, and SES;
Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation;
Understanding of database management, particularly with relational databases;
Language Skills: English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
Proactive and collaborative mindset, with a strong emphasis on teamwork;
Enthusiasm for AI and leveraging technology to drive hyper-efficiency in day-to-day operations;
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
