Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our financial team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.
Duties

• General Accounting
• Full cycle Accounts Payable
• Full cycle Accounts Receivable
• Inventory Management including 3rd party fulfillment centers
• Creation and follow- up of Purchase Orders
• Manage company credit card accounts
• Preparation of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable aging reports
• Ad-hoc projects assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance Degree
• Strong analytical skills along with a solid understanding of accounting theories and tax implications for Canada and the US
• CPA designation or working towards
• 5+ years accounting/finance experience, including in a similar position
• Strong experience working with major accounting software – Sage Intaact preferred
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees,
• Proactive and independent
