Your role and responsibilities

** Winter 2025 Full-time Internship for Students in Business Administration/Accounting, based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu with 2 to 3 days per week in the office ** As an Accounting Intern, you will assist a team of 5 analysts by working on various profitability analyses for our clients. You will have the opportunity to take on new responsibilities throughout the internship, depending on your learning abilities. Responsibilities: • Develop tools and analyses to monitor customer profitability. • Track the progress of the order process through to invoicing. • Monitor consignment stock (invoicing and inventory). • Analyze expenses by cost center and compare them with the budget. • Prepare various presentations for monthly reviews. • Participate in the monthly financial close process. • Actively participate in the implementation of performance management tools and financial controls, and suggest improvements to existing processes.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree student in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting.
• Good understanding of accounting entries (debit-credit).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and simple and complex formulas.
• Curious, eager to learn, and ask questions to gain in-depth understanding.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Initiative, organizational skills, and a love for teamwork.
• Independent, thorough, and resourceful.
