Position: Air Freight Coordinator
Hours: 8AM-4:30PM, or 9AM – 5:30PM
Location: Etobicoke, ON

Job Summary:
The Bonded Airfreight Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the logistics, documentation, and regulatory compliance associated with bonded airfreight shipments. This role ensures that all airfreight shipments are processed in accordance with customs regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage all documentation required for bonded airfreight shipments.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and bonded warehouse requirements.
Coordinate with customs brokers and CBSA as needed.
Oversee the scheduling and coordination of bonded airfreight shipments.
Manage the flow of goods through the bonded airfreight process, from origin to destination.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to bonded airfreight shipments.
Act as the primary point of contact for all parties involved in bonded airfreight shipments, including clients, carriers, and customs authorities.
Provide updates and information regarding shipment status to customers.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of bonded goods.
Address and resolve any issues related to bonded airfreight shipments, including delays, damages, or discrepancies.
Implement solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the bonded airfreight process.
Answering any customs related questions
Processing ACE/ACI Manifests
Processing PARS Shipments
Performing any other tasks that may be required by the Customs Manager

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Customs Certification (CCS) is an asset.
Minimum 2-year experience as a Bonded Airfreight and Cross Border Coordinator
Minimum 2-year experience in Transportation
Experience with bonded shipments and customs regulations is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Truck Mate is an asset.
Strong computer skills: ability to use various computer software with little to no supervision.
Professional verbal and written skills; ability to type 30 wpm.
Ability to work independently and work within a team.
Certifications related to logistics, customs, or bonded warehousing are a plus.
