Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic (WE)

Job Description

We are seeking two licensed aircraft mechanics to join our team and sign off on work. The role involves heavy maintenance on Challenger 300-600 and Global 5000 and 6000 aircraft. Contractors will perform tasks such as panel removal, inspections, and mechanical modifications to landing gears, wings, and engines if needed. This position requires individuals to bring their own toolboxes.

Responsibilities

• Perform panel removal and inspections.
• Execute mechanical modifications on landing gears, wings, and engines as needed.
• Sign off on completed work.
• Read and understand mechanical plans.
• Use computers to access online task cards.

Essential Skills

• M2 license
• Experience in heavy maintenance
• Ability to read and understand mechanical plans
• Own mechanical tools
• Proficiency in English or French

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working on Challenger or Global aircrafts
• Endorsements on Challenger or Global aircrafts

Work Environment

The hangar is very clean and climate-controlled, fostering a comfortable and safe work environment. The team is multicultural and non-union, with 10-20 technicians on the floor, including a sheet metal department and an avionics shot. The dress code includes clean work pants, safety steel toe work boots, and ideally an Aerotek t-shirt. The position requires weekend coverage from Friday to Sunday.
