Apprentice Mechanic - HQ Division (Evening/Night)

ABOUT THE HQ DIVISION
ROLE OVERVIEW
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Accomplish maintenance tasks related to aircraft and components as directed by an authorized signatory.
- Maintain AMO facilities according to established guidelines.
- Participate in regular inspections, repairs and maintenance of aircraft systems and components.
- Contribute to accurate record keeping of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with experienced AMEs to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep up-to-date of the latest technological innovations and aeronautical best practices.
- Perform other related tasks as per the operational needs of the HQ Division.
- College diploma in aircraft maintenance technician or equivalent.
- General knowledge of HQ division fleet aircraft types an asset.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Montreal airport Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC), including an airside driver's license.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn, team spirit and passion for aviation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces and stand for long periods.
- Hold and keep current all authorizations and documents required to work legally in Canada.
- Evening/night shifts (4:00pm – 2:30am) - Schedule type 3-2-2
- Compensation and benefits are determined according to corporate policy.
