Position Details:
This role provides analytical insights to determine the appropriateness of potential enhancements on platforms like IVR, customer portals, chatbots, CRM, or other operational processes. The Associate will also perform post-mortem analysis on project launches to assess if the desired value was achieved. As a subject matter expert on data, they will conduct deep dive analyses and provide recommendations. This role involves close collaboration with project leaders and stakeholders to solidify enhancement requirements and identify improvement opportunities in process data. The position is full-time and reports to the Manager, Ops Strategy & Analytics, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement, including regular weekly time at the office in Downtown Toronto.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Assistance: Analyze large data sets using advanced analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, SAS) to uncover trends, automation opportunities, process improvements, and insights for various operational areas. Perform data discovery to uncover patterns and outliers in data.
• Financial Close Participation: Conduct post-mortem analyses for project launches to examine the project's performance, identify what went well, what didn’t, and gather insights for future improvements.
• Audit Engagement: Perform data testing and validation on new data before project launch to ensure accuracy for future continuous monitoring.
• Project Participation: Prepare and deliver presentations on data analysis and recommended actions during the initiation and monitoring phases of projects.
• Staff Development: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Work Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis roles; experience in the auto captive industry is an asset.

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong PC skills: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel
• Advanced SQL skills and SAS coding are a must
• Ability to understand large datasets and provide concrete recommendations
• Aptitude for learning business applications and understanding data connections
• Effective engagement and presentation skills at all management levels
• Ability to facilitate collaboration with diverse groups
• Team-oriented but capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Salesforce knowledge is an asset
