We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious AZ Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of materials to our customers within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding regions, while maintaining a professional and positive image of the company. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, effective communication, and the ability to provide excellent service to both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe and Timely Delivery:
  Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver materials to various customer locations within the GTA and surrounding areas. Ensure all deliveries are completed on time while complying with road safety laws and regulations.
• Driver’s Log & Vehicle Maintenance:
  Maintain accurate and detailed daily trip logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections. Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and report any mechanical issues to management promptly. Adhere to a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
• Customer Relations:
  Act as a professional ambassador of the company during interactions with customers. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely, courteous, and professional service. Address any concerns or issues that may arise during deliveries.
• Compliance & Safety Standards:
  Follow all traffic regulations, company policies, and safety protocols at all times. Comply with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations. Ensure all loads are properly secured and comply with load distribution and safety standards.
• Loading & Unloading Assistance:
  Assist with loading and unloading materials at customer sites, ensuring all items are handled with care. Safely secure materials in the vehicle to prevent damage during transport.
  
• Team Collaboration:
  Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries, resolve any issues, and ensure seamless communication. Provide feedback on delivery challenges or inefficiencies to help improve operations.

Requirements:

• Valid AZ Driver’s License with a clean driving record (minimum 2 years of AZ driving experience preferred).
• Experience with Commercial Vehicles (5+ tons) and strong understanding of the operation and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks.
• Knowledge of Transport Regulations: Strong knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act, load security regulations, Hours of Service (HOS) laws, and other related transportation regulations.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate with customers, team members, and management.
• Customer Service Orientation: Professional, positive attitude and the ability to represent the company in a courteous and respectful manner.
