Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bicycle Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of bicycle repair and maintenance, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of bicycles while ensuring that every job meets our high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on bicycles, including adjustments to brakes, gears, and wheel truing.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure bicycles are safe and in good working order.
• Communicate clearly with customers to understand their needs and explain repair options.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition.
• Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and repair techniques.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering parts and supplies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the shop.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bicycle Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of bicycle components, systems, and repair techniques.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of bicycle issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with current cycling trends and technology is a plus.
• Relevant certifications or training is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and handle bicycles and equipment.
• Capability to work in a variety of positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling.
• Comfortable working with tools and machinery.
