Responsible for Canadian bookings out of All Origins into Canada for all accounts as designated, including some Key Accounts


Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations):
  • Coordinate daily bookings with overseas offices
  • Issues routing instruction to origin offices.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers regarding booking status.
  • Understand carriers’ service and routing.
  • Understand carriers’ pricing structure.
  • Manage and prioritize bookings to match customers requirement
  • Follow company’s guidelines
Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel):

  • Shipping knowledge
  • Minimum of 2 years ocean operations and/or pricing experience in USA/Canada
  • Freight Forwarding experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
