The Business Development Representative will be responsible for contributing to Centrilogic’s revenue generation engine by driving business growth and expanding the customer base through identifying and nurturing potential opportunities. You are entrepreneurial in nature, a creative thinker, with a strong ability to communicate service and solution offers in a compelling and enthusiastic manner. You are comfortable talking to the C-Suite or the IT team and have a passion to help them with their digital transformation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactive outreach, diligent lead follow-up and effective lead identification & qualification across a variety of channels.
- Cross functional collaboration with sales, customer success, and marketing to communicate product and service offerings to well-defined lists of targeted accounts and contacts.
- Capturing, sharing, and actioning feedback internally to refine messaging and outreach strategies.
- Ensuring professional and timely responses to prospective customer inquiries.
- Actively compile meaningful competitive and product research that will help the team reach leads in a meaningful and valuable way.
- Acts as a brand ambassador, identifying products and solutions that will work for each unique business, demonstrating expertise, and building trust with the lead. Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with existing clients and work effectively with the Customer Success team to carry the sale through.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Extensive experience in telesales, social selling, email lead prospecting and the associated technology stack.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude.
- Demonstrates excellent spoken and written communication.
- Flexibility and responsiveness to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Is comfortable in consultative selling techniques for a variety of technology services/products.
- Has the teamwork and leadership skills to work effectively within the sales team and alongside the marketing team to connect with and nurture leads.
- Adaptability, resilience, and the ability to handle rejection or objections in a positive manner. Able to quickly grasp technical concepts and terminology.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook) Strong experience with Salesforce, Linked In Sales Navigator, and other modern selling tech stack focusing on automation and sales engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-Secondary education; University/ College Diploma.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a fast-paced sales environment with a successful track record in warming sales-qualified leads; proven experience in sales or business development role, with a focus on outbound prospecting or lead generation.
- Has extensive experience working in a technology company, ideally in cloud computing. Ability to meet and exceed achievable targets.
