Overview:
The Category & Space Analyst provides actionable insights and recommendations to support category management and strategic planning for our Beer and Beyond Beer portfolios. This role involves building planograms, tracking and reporting share of shelf, as well as testing planograms and other research studies through VR.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain planograms that optimize shelf space and product visibility in retail stores.
  • Allocate space based on sales data, consumer insights, and promotional plans to maximize revenue and brand exposure.
  • Develop merchandising strategies that highlight key products, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
  • Own the share of shelf process at Labatt
    • Work with the external partner and the sales intelligence team on tracking share of space across Canada
  • Be the main point of contact for implementing Virtual Reality
    • VR used to test planograms, merchandising, shopping experience, etc.
Skills/Experience:
  • Post secondary education
  • Ability to plan and prioritize routine and ad hoc tasks in order to reach established objectives.
  • Mastery of Windows environment and Microsoft Office software (Excel, Power Point).
  • Practical experience in complex data bank processing an asset (Access, Space Planning(JDA), PBI).
  • Excellent communication skills; must speak and write well in English.
  • Independent and dynamic, with good people skills.
  • Experience with working with JDA planogramming suite
