Olds Mountain View Christian School (OMVCS) is a private Alberta accredited Christian school located in Harmattan, Alberta, specializing in the education of children in Grades K-12. OMVCS is a member of AISCA (Association of Independent Schools and Colleges in Alberta). We are a small school of approximately 40 students using mainly ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum.
OMVCS has an opportunity for a 1.0 FTE Teacher or Educational Assistant. Under the direction and mentorship of the Principal, this individual will be assisting in our combined classroom working one-on-one with students in an array of subjects.

Qualifications
· Agrees to and adheres to our Statement of Faith – without reservation
· Is able to clearly express his or her faith and relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour
· Bachelor of Education preferred
· AB Permanent or Interim Certificate preferred
Skills
· Design effective strategies to meet the children’s diverse learning needs
· Effective communication skills
· Ability to handle confidential information
· Fluent in English
· Excellent English written and oral communication skills
· Proven attention to detail, organizational and documenting / tracking skills, as well as analytical problem-solving abilities
· Knowledge/Experience with ACE curriculum is an asset but not a requirement
