Job Opportunity: Material Handler (Chemical)
We are actively seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Material Handler (Chemical). If you have leadership experience in handling bulk chemicals and are committed to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace, we invite you to apply for this full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities:

• Efficiently load and unload bulk chemicals
• Conduct blending/batching of chemicals
• Supervise Coworkers
• Repackage/fill chemicals in drums, totes/IBC's, and bulk containers
• Manage shipping and receiving of prepackaged goods
• Collect samples of raw and finished products for testing
• Ensure the safe operation of forklifts and drum handling equipment
• Adhere to the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Perform other assigned duties
• Follow a regular Monday to Friday schedule with occasional overtime

Qualifications:

• Hold a current forklift license
• Completed TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) training
• 2-5 years of prior experience in chemical handling
• Supervisor/Leadership experience
• Basic computer skills, particularly with Outlook
• High school education
• Ability to frequently lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding instructions in English
• Capable of working effectively in a team environment
