We seek a motivated, team-oriented Civil/Municipal Design Engineer with expertise in municipal engineering to join our fast-paced, growing team. The candidate will apply their design skills to municipal infrastructure projects, such as drainage, water mains, sewers, roads, and site development, and contribute to project advancement through concept, design, and construction. Requirements:

• A University Degree in Civil Engineering (from a recognized University engineering program) or equivalent degree program and practical experience in the Civil Engineering discipline

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation; or at a minimum, enrollment in the Engineering Intern Program (E.I.T.) would be preferred

• Minimum of 4 years of relatable engineering work experience in Canada

• Proficient use of the following software: Auto CAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office

• An understanding and commitment to CAD standards and procedures

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented

• A good problem-solving capability, able to identify alternative solutions

• An innovative and analytical approach to providing solutions, and a desire to work collaboratively as part of a highly skilled team

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

• An understanding of municipal civil infrastructure construction methods

• Knowledge of Hydrological modeling and other design-based software is an asset

• Valid Ontario driver's license
