Co-op or Intern, Software Order Entry Administrator (January 2025)

Your Opportunity

BDO Digital is looking for a Co-op or Intern, Software Order Entry Administrator to join the BDO Consulting Operations team from January to April 2025 and own the following responsibilities:
  • Providing pre-sales pricing to BDO employees and customers for Microsoft and third party On-Premise based solutions, providing excellent customer service
  • Processing and tracking orders, client invoicing, revenue recognition and reconciliations while working closely with other billing team members to ensure accuracy
  • Contribution to forecasting sales reports
  • Develop tools, processes and research information necessary to evolve software operations
  • Prepare documents and report implementation status to engagement manager including monthly reporting on key winnings, losses, issues, barriers to success and activities executed
  • Additional administrative support and participation in special projects as required

Your experience and education
  • You are passionate about software technology, finance operations and have a willingness to learn new technologies
  • You have meticulous attention to detail and provide great quality of work
  • You have practical knowledge of professional, effective telephone techniques and customer care
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You have strong problem solving skills
  • You enjoy improving and taking ownership of processes
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office computer programs (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • You are able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage multiple tasks and variable workload
  • The following are considered an asset:
    • Experience in a business or finance operations role
    • Experience or willingness to learn Microsoft on premise-based licensing programs (Dynamics, SQL Server, Windows) and software vendors such as e One Integrated Business Solutions, Insight software, Key2Act, Rockton Software, etc.
    • You have a background related to on-prem Annual Enhancement Renewals (Nice to have but not required)
