Co-Store Manager

We have ten stores across Canada. We have 1 full-time position for a Co-Manager in our Toronto Bayview Ave. location, requiring flexible availability including weekends and evenings, Monday through Sunday. We are looking for a reliable and dedicated employee that is in search of a long term, permanent position. We promote within the company and offer benefits for all our full-time staff.
The Co-Manager will be responsible for exhibiting exceptional leadership skills, collaboration skills, and providing outstanding customer service in order to ensure our customers have a positive, informative and enjoyable experience. The successful candidate will report to the area/regional manager and is responsible for overseeing the operation of the store, in tandem with another store manager.
The Co-Manager will oversee staffing initiatives that include training & scheduling and developing a professional staff of sales associates to drive sales, provide excellent service to our customers, meet company goals, and maximize store promotions and marketing initiatives.
The Manager must also possess exceptional administrative and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, merchandising, selling and exceeding customer expectations & store opening/closing duties.
Requirements:
5 years experience in retail management, in a senior position.
The Co-Manager must be highly motivated and energetic and have excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in the baby industry would be an asset.
Computer proficiency is required and past retail, display design, and business training is preferred. Formal sales training and Industry experience would also be assets in the role.
