Cold Storage Warehouse Order Picker
Burnaby

Main Responsibilities:
- Pick products as indicated on individual pick lists
- Place products on pallet such that they are stable, secure and well-balanced
- Be familiar with warehouse layout, including directional access and location codes
- Meet and exceed expectations related to accuracy and productivity
- Adhere to safety standards, both in equipment use and in picking procedures
- Learn and follow steps to choose correct pallet for different customers
- Follow procedures when product is out-of-stock
- Place pallets in correct staging area (for QC to check or for shipping)
- As directed, wrap pallets and prepare for shipping
- Complete paperwork as required (pallet tags, tracking paperwork, etc.)
- Learn and follow spill clean-up procedures
- Participate in inventory as required
- Assist with general warehouse clean up/housekeeping
Qualifications + Expectations:
- High level of physical ability and endurance
- Ability to work in cooler and/or freezer for entire shift
- Lifting up to 55lbs
- Repeated lifting, bending, twisting, standing, reaching
- Attention to detail and focus on accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously; be self-directed and complete work independently
- Reading comprehension of alphanumeric codes
- Pallet Mover (Class 3 Code 8) and Reach Truck (Class 2 Code 2) experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of warehouse (distribution) operations and flow
