Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess maintenance needs, safety concerns, and compliance with regulations.
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks as required, such as changing light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and minor repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Monitor and manage property budgets, expenses, and resources effectively.
• Enforce property rules, regulations, and lease agreements, and address any violations or disputes as needed.
• Collaborate with property managers, leasing agents, and other team members to ensure high tenant satisfaction and retention.
• Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests, and ensure that all issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Available for weekend work as needed to address emergencies and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Superintendent or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in property management, construction management, or a related field is an asset.
• Hands-on experience with property maintenance and general repair tasks.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and relevant regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle.
• Availability to work 4 hours daily, with flexibility for weekends as required.

Note: This is not a live-in Superintendent position.
The wage for this position starts from $22/hour, but this can be adjusted based on your experience.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
