What we do:
Support individuals living independently in the community with personal care and activities of daily living.
Homemaking services such as cleaning, cooking, laundry and general household management.
Accompanying supported individuals to medical appointments, shopping, activities and events in the community; and recreation/leisure pursuits.
Are flexible and willing to accommodate day-to-day variations in support requirements.
Demonstrate a high degree of tolerance and compassion for the unique personalities, challenges and experiences of individuals being supported.
Work independently.
Requirements:
· Must be 19 and over
· Criminal record check for working with vulnerable people (Pro Humana will submit this)
· CSW diploma or relevant work experience
· Valid First aid with CPR “C”
· Medical clearance including a recent negative TB test
· Full Covid and Influenza Vaccinations
· Class 5 BC driver's license and clean Abstract
· Use of Personal vehicle with adequate insurance
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Autism support and service experience preferred
Training/Experience considered an asset:
· Non Violent Crisis Intervention Training
· Experience with FASD, ADHD, OCD, depression; aggressive, challenging, and self-harming behaviour.
· Participant or graduate of the Cadets Canada Program (Air Cadets, Army Cadets, Navy and Navy League Cadets)

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
