Concrete Finishers - North Vancouver, British Columbia (Job Number: 226300)
Wages:
$26.68 - 38.12/hr plus vacation and statutory holiday pay as well as other incentives.
Suitable candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Understand and follow PCL's HSE programs and value working safely
- Be able to complete task hazard assessments and maintain a safe work environment
- Value teamwork and working cohesively with others
- Be available to work overtime, evening and weekends as the project may require
- Proficiency in pouring and placing walls and slabs
- Be able to color match concrete patches
- Proficiency in grinding and/or chipping concrete surfaces
- Be able to finish concrete to a desired finish
- proficient and knowledgeable in the use of internal and external vibrator's
- Understand the safe operating procedures for tools and equipment
- Understand the safe use of required PPE(respirator, tyvek suit, face shield, fall protection, etc.)
- Follow proper procedures for mixing concrete patch material
- Be able to perform a variety of construction labour tasks
- Experience working with hand and power tools
