Job Summary:
As the Copywriter, you’ll report directly to the Director, Global Content and will be responsible for the copywriting and proofreading needs in support of the Global Marketing and Content team. This role translates content strategies and global initiatives into compelling copy. You will work closely with Global Marketing and other internal teams to develop a range of content assets that educate, inform and communicate the value of Foundever® offerings to target audiences (customers, prospects and employees).
Brainstorm and ideate fresh, interesting and creative topics and angles for copy that are also aligned with Foundever tone, voice, style and brand. Follow marketing briefs, templates and style guides to streamline workflow and establish consistency where needed. Research effectively to write fact-based copy that is original and positions our company as a trusted resource, thought leader and expert within the industries we serve.

Salary Range
The base pay range for this position is up to CAD 48,000 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience.

Job Summary:

Summary of Responsibilities

Create original, snappy, engaging, concise, creative, persuasive copy for blogs, articles, landing pages, headlines, ads, website, scripts for videos and webinars, ebooks and ad hoc content as necessary for other types of marketing collateral.

Write, proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy and quality.

Identify, research and write copy that positions Foundever as a thought- and market-leading company with target audiences.

Develop blog series based on strategic topic focus set by the global marketing team.

Oversee and manage the blog calendar and publish blogs to the corporate website.

Understand reputable sources and constantly research to find impactful resources to cite in marketing assets.

Assist in content-creation templates and follow AP style and internal style guides when writing copy.

Apply new, innovative ideas and creative ways to tell stories through content.

Conduct SEO research on topics and keywords.

Work directly with our internal Business Intelligence team to determine and prioritize the content needed to support content development.

Work with cross-functional teams to gather the necessary information to ensure effective copy.

Meet deadlines and oversee the timely development of all assigned projects.

Develop strong knowledge of the customer care outsourcing market.

Raise awareness and enhance our positioning by consistently incorporating on-brand messaging in copy.

Perform other additional related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Position Qualifications
-
Minimum 4-6 years related experience in B2B marketing, advertising or communications (in-house or agency) or equivalent combination of education and experience

Proven copywriting skills demonstrated in professional samples or a portfolio.

Strong knowledge of copywriting best practices.

Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading and editing skills with ability to prioritize and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

High level of creativity, innovation and confidence to share fresh, bold ideas for compelling copy.

A keen desire to make a difference.

Collaborative interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

The ability to evaluate, collaborate, influence and engage in healthy debate and discussion

High level of proficiency with various software applications programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and other applications in the Office Suite.

Knowledge of the customer care industry desired.

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following or related areas: Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, Creative Writing.
