This job contributes to the Hotel's success by upholding the hotel's brand promise by providing legendary customer service to all customers. This job creates the Delta Service Experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, a professional attitude while maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards. The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with hotel guiding principles.
The dishwasher is a team player who assists the culinary team with responsibility for washing dishes, cleaning all areas and properly disposing of recycling and garbage. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed. Understanding of the use and maintenance of kitchen dish room equipment. Knowledge of basic sanitation controls and purpose and use of cleaning supplies. Must be highly Health and Safety conscious, dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance. Ability to push and pull work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
(e.g., to identify defects). Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Pay: From $19.97 per hour
