Woodfield Canada is a family run business in the automotive industry that focuses on commercial vehicle accessories & work vehicle modifications. We are continually growing and are currently looking to add a assembler to our team. Your job would be to organize, assemble & prepare custom work van equipment and accessories for customer vehicles.
Candidates will be responsible to complete the following each day:

• Receive shipments, unload delivery trucks.
• Put away & organize inventory.
• Unpackage products to be assembled & dispose of garbage.
• Review and fill in documentation such as: work orders, component sheets, layout drawings etc.
• Assemble products as per work order instructions and drawings. Products would include: shelving, drawers units, ladder racks, safety barriers, tool boxes etc.
• Custom modifications to products as per work order.
• Prepare products for installation technicians.
• Ship out products as needed.

Characteristics:
Candidates should display the following characteristics:

• Punctual & on time.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Comfortable working with power tools.
• Forklift license (preferred required).
• G License (preferred but not required).
• Mechanical ability.
• Able to lift heavy items in excess of 100 lbs.
• Able to stand for long hours.

Experience:

• Experience with hand & power tools.
• Hands-on work experience.
• Experience reviewing blueprints and drawings.
