Who we are looking for:
Triple Eight Transport Inc. is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Customs Clearance Clerk. You’ll bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as solid computer skills, time management, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities Include:

• Handling general inquiries professionally (internally and externally) over the phone, in person, or through email.
• Review documentation and prepare ACE / ACI Manifests & PAPS / PARS submissions for processing.
• Communicate with customers to clear shipments, close entries, provide updates, and resolve paperwork issues and customs holds.
• Handle and resolve difficult or challenging situations while maintaining superb service to all internal and external customers.
• Maintain strong knowledge of all border ports across the USA and Canada.
• Assist in ensuring that all entries are released in a timely manner.
• Trailer pool management
• Other duties as required.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications

• Previous asset-based carrier work experience. (1+ year preferred).
• Previous PAPS/PARS entry, ACE, ACI, CBP / CBSA Portal experience.
• Experience processing entries across different modes of transportation (highways) is an asset.
• High work standards, high level of accuracy.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Quick learner and a desire to learn.
• Results-driven.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong communication skills
