Main Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Prepare and process import/export documents and other forms on behalf of clients in accordance with customs regulations, laws and procedures
• Prepare entry forms that include rail movement information such as classification codes, country of origin, weights and quantities
• Submit documentation to customs government department
• Assist clients in securing paperwork needed to qualify imports for trade programs
• Help clients with export rail movement; provide information on export licenses and submit information through automated export systems
• Represent clients under a power of attorney with custom officials
• Apply for tariff reclassifications and duty refunds and
• Coordinate transportation and storage of imported goods.

Candidate Profile:

• Must have a minimum 2 years customs brokerage experience;
• Valid customhouse broker license and CCS certification preferred;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Supply Chain/Logistics/ customs brokerage education a bonus;
• Previous customer service experience required;
• Knowledge of complex import laws and regulations;
• Excellent computer skills; advanced knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel;
• Must be willing to travel; Must have access to a vehicle;
• Able to pass pre-employment Criminal Background Check.
