The Winnipeg facility is a Cargoflo yard where we transload liquid products from railcars to tanker trucks.


Summary:
This contract position will require the successful candidate to fulfill product transfer orders in accordance with company policy and safety regulations in all related physical transloading of propane, liquid chemicals and dry products in the safest, most efficient way possible.


Main Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Including but not limited to:

• Loading and unloading of goods to and from railcars.
• Unloading of bulk dry goods using conveyor belt
  
• Use of Gantry’s, pumps, conveyor belts etc.
  

• Abiding by yard rules, safety regulations and PPE requirements
• Accurately completing all required paperwork
• Abide by terminals processes and procedures relating to product transfers, quality assurance, safety and operations.
• Complete required training and certifications necessary to perform duties safely and effectively.

Candidate Profile:

• High school or GED equivalent
• Labourer and/or Railway experience an asset.
  
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• MUST have valid driver’s license; Class 5 Driving

• Experience loading trailers/railway cars an asset.
• Must be able to work at heights using fall arrest.
• High attention to detail
• Able to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
