OVERVIEW

We are partnering with a Saa S Client to hire for a Data Analyst to the Engineering Operations team. The ideal candidate has a passion for translating data into meaningful insights, ability to identify invalid data, while ensuring data accuracy and consistency. This person thrives in ambiguity, is energized by a fast-paced work environment and can comfortably juggle a diverse array of responsibilities. They don't shy away from ambiguity and thrive in a fast paced, fluid environment where work responsibilities can change quickly. The core focus for this assignment will be on: Incident management reporting.

Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Hourly Rate: $55 - $65/hour
Location: Remote (must be located in Canada)
Must be able to work in Canada without sponsorship.
JQL experience is required!!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Collection, Cleaning and Processing:

Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing datasets from various sources.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

Data Analysis:

Utilize statistical methods and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data.
Utilize SQL to manipulate data.

Reporting and Visualization:

Generate reports and visualizations to communicate data insights.
Contribute to the creation of dashboards in Tableau and Jira for various stakeholders.

Documentation:

Document data analysis processes, findings, and recommendations.
Maintain organized records of datasets and analyses.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
Proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, JQL).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
Strong expertise with Tableau server
Strong expertise with Jira
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics).
