About this position:
The position will be assisting the Digital Services Manager by bridging and supporting the the daily operations team needs and social media and web based marketing efforts such as assistance in photographing of new products, video graphing special creations, customizing graphic design, assisting with Shopify content planning and implementation, and other digital marketing and front end web application needs. The role and will have the opportunity to participate in ongoing website design, new product launches, and onsite event planning activities.
We are looking for a creative individual with a keen and learning interest in the digital marketing field and there is a need to have a good eye for color and creativity as the balloon world we are in requires someone who can visualize and conceptualize how to take advantage of the digital market space. You are able to prioritize different tasks and are able to react to instant changes. You are able to communicate fluently in English in a business professional manner, and you are legally allowed to work in Canada for 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to use Adobe software to create graphics and illustrations to use daily
• Create/assist daily Instagram and Facebook stories, keep a track of usable content on the company computer
• Pre-plan weekly social media content on all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Google My Business, and Tik Tok)
• Knowledge of front end development
• Monitor website content and product information, edit and build to suit business needs when needed
• Take creative and good quality product photo/video for social media use
• Come up with your own ideas for marketing campaigns and content creation
• Answer phone calls when needed
• Be the brand speaker on social media and email channels when needed
• Other business tasks when needed
• Onsite assistance and photo taking/content creation when needed

This is a full-time position, working 30 hours per week, . Work hours are from 8:00am - 2:30pm._ 30 minute mandatory lunch break._
The candidate must be able to come to our physical location to work. We are looking for someone able to stay long-term and grow with our small team. As we are an event based company, this position will require onsite assistance when needed so the ability to have good eye/hand dexterity is also a factor.
The successful candidate will receive on the job training as the role is unique and will start with a 3-month-probation period.
There is also the potential with the right team players of creative individuals who are able to accomplish the task of enhancing and growing the current event-based and corporation-focused balloon boutique to continue to move forward and build on small startup business that we have created and is live and in production in the Digital Marketing field.

Pay: $30.00-$30.01 per hour
