About the Opportunity
Project Redtail is looking for a full-time Director of Operations based remotely within Alberta or Manitoba. Please note that provincial or national travel will be required.In this role, you will report directly to the executive team and will be accountable for developing and managing a dealer network, establishing internal policies and procedures, and overseeing day-to-day operations as the company expands into new markets. You will play a critical leadership role, working to scale the business while building and leading a high-performance team.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and managing a dealer network across Canada
- Designing and implementing scalable policies, procedures, and operational processes
- Leading the recruitment, training, and development of a growing team
- Supporting long-range strategic planning and execution with the executive team
- Overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and performance
- Representing the company to external stakeholders and clients
- Driving sales strategies and guiding dealer network growth
- Coordinating participation in trade shows and industry events
- Collaborating on continuous improvements and problem-solving across operations
- Promoting a positive, entrepreneurial, and resourceful company culture
About You
To qualify, you will need proven experience in building or developing a company, product, or division from the ground up and familiarity within the agricultural industry. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in leadership, growing a business or division, and team management will also be essential.Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Experience in sales and guiding sales strategy
- Knowledge of scalable business processes and operational efficiency
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Familiarity with spray drone technology
- Agricultural or farming background
- Bilingual (French and English) is an asset
