ROCK Construction & Mining Inc is seeking hardworking individuals to join the team as Labourers. Full time-permanent work available with the opportunity to learn about drilling and blasting, obtaining various skills with potential for growth. This position is for a project in Prince Rupert, but successful candidates must be willing to work across sites in BC and Canada where required.

Rock Construction & Mining Inc. is a mining company specializing in drilling and blasting applications such as road and highway construction, quarry and mine production, infrastructure foundations and hydro-electric development across Canada. The company was founded with the philosophy of providing a safe, efficient, and guaranteed service. ROCK's consideration to project parameters prior to bidding has subsequently enforced a positive reputation for meeting client expectations.
Job Requirements:
- Valid drivers’ license
- Fit and able to perform physical labour activities
- Experience working outdoors – adaptable to changing environmental conditions
- Drill / Blast experience is considered an asset
- Class 3 Driver's license considered an asset
- Mobile Equipment experience is an asset - Specifically use of Forklifts
- Experience using small equipment/tools
- Highly motivated and driven individual who is eager and willing to learn
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good judgment/ability to determine unsafe/safe working conditions
- Positive, can-do attitude with friendly demeanor, and a team player
- Good organizational skills
- Follow direction accurately and willingly
- Undertake assigned tasks within a timely manner
- - Manual Labour Activities
- - Use of small tools and equipment
- - Washing Equipment
- - Sharpening Drill Bits
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Inventory management - ability to track and order materials
- Complete accurate daily reporting as required
- Successful candidates will be required to complete project-specific online training and orientation. This includes D&A clearance.
