About Elite Educational Institute
Elite Educational Institute is a premier college-prep academy with 52 campuses across North America and Asia. Since 1987, we have offered students in grades 3 through 12 a flexible and proven system of courses and personal academic counseling.
Locations
This position is for in-person tutoring at our Surrey-Guildford and White Rock campuses that would start at the end of August, 2024.
Teaching Subjects
We are looking for tutors comfortable with the following subjects for elementary and high school students. Please note that you do not need to tutor all subjects listed below, many candidates apply within a specific stream or for a specific course!
Humanities:

• SAT, IB, and/or BC High School English (literature, reading, & writing)
• AP Psychology

Business:

• AP Economics (Micro + Macro)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of the subject and effective teaching ability
• Degree in a related field is an asset
• Familiarity with BC elementary and/or high school curriculum is an asset
• Familiarity with AP (Math/Science) and/or SAT (English/Math) is an asset
• Commitment to academic integrity
• Excellent communication skills with school-aged students
• Punctual, honest, organized, and goal-oriented

Work Hours:

• Fall: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on weekdays and optionally 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturdays
