Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Senior Director Technology Solutions, Graphic Systems and Solutions, the duties and responsibilities of the Equipment Sales include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prospect for new and existing business in wide format printing, signage, graphic design, vehicle decoration and city sign operations as well as commercial printers;
- Consultative selling approach to understand prospect needs and solutions;
- Ability to provide detailed information and quotations to meet customers needs;
- Great phone, virtual and in-person communication skills.
- Attend tradeshows and events to meet prospects;
- Provide suggestions on improved workflow and marketing programs for potentials clients;
- Provide after sales service;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Minimum five (5) years experience in Inside/Outside Sales;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills;
- Experience selling printing equipment or related products with some industry knowledge is considered an asset;
- Passion for sales, hands-on, high energy and willingness to learn;
- Proficient in using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Word, Excel, Power Point, Rip Software, production workflows is considered an asset;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Strong organization and time-management skills;
- Excellent teamwork and team building skills;
- Goal Oriented, Able to set and achieve targets;
- Self-directed and self-motivated; and
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Able to work on a computer for numerous hours which may result in strain on wrists, eyes, back, etc.;
- Ability to work in a busy, open area office;
- May have to spend long hours in concentration which requires attention to detail and high levels of accuracy;
- This position faces a number of deadlines which may cause stress; and
- Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
