We are excited to partner with KNDS Canada on their immediate search for an Equipment Support Manager.
The ESM will be responsible for overseeing the daily interactions with the customer in relations of fleet support. In this role, They work closely with the Program Manager and RMC Manager to meet LTSS and customer quality expectations. The position will drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes within the contract. The ESM will drive a performance-based culture that aligns with the needs of our customers. They are involved in the regular coordination with the corresponding Po Cs of the customer as well as the internal reporting in all technical areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our internal and external customers’ expectations.
- Conduct structure audits regularly.
- Increase fleet availability while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
- Oversee and coordinate configuration and obsolescence management tasks.
- Act as an interface between the operational business and the KNDS system engineering division
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus with clear actions that drive results.
- Recommend, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and standards for all aspects of the work performed.
- Report on key performance regularly.
- Drive significant cost reductions across all aspects of the LTSS contract.
