Job Overview: Home Team Live is seeking a skilled and passionate Events Technical Director to join our team. This role demands a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of live event production, both on-site and remotely. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sports production, with expertise in switching, using v Mix, instant replays, and PTZ cameras. A solid understanding of IT networking, routers, and Po E is also crucial for success in this role.
Location: Must reside near a major airport (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax)
Job Type: Full-Time, Regular Work Hours (9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday), outside of on site events

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Willingness to travel:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute live event productions on-site and remotely.
- Operate v Mix, manage switching, and perform instant replays for live sports events.
- Set up and operate PTZ cameras
- Manage and troubleshoot IT networks, including routers and Po E devices, during events.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth event operations.
- Be physically capable of handling the demands of on-site event production.
- Travel extensively and be away from home for extended periods.
- October 1st-6th, 2024
- November 5th-10th, 2024
- November 26th - December 1st, 2024
- January 14th-19th, 2025
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience using v Mix in sports production.
- Experience with PTZ cameras, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of IT networking, including routers, switches, and Po E systems.
- Passion for travel and sports.
- Ability to lead and manage event teams, ensuring high-quality production.
- Must be able to commit to the required work dates.
